Kit Features & Gimmicks
- The Gunpla only features 15 points of limited articulation on the head, arms, shoulders, and legs.
- Beam Sabers must be removed from the backpack before you replace it with longer versions for the RX-78-2 Gundam.
Tips & Tricks
- For better results, the kit needs to be fully painted and panel-lined.
- The Gundam Bazooka, Gundam/Hyper Hammer & the Javelin from the Weapons for Mobile Suit set is compatible to this kit. (modification required)

- in 2011, the Gunpla's packaging featured several new descriptions, which includes age restriction, precautions, plastic materials, and many more. It also features a "flags" on it's tips of the antenna piece for safety reasons.
Notes & Trivia
- This was the very first Gunpla released in history.
- Like the rest of the old Gunplas, this kit comes with a packet of Cement.
