Articulation

• The head can rotate/tilt on a double-sided ball-joint neck.

  • Feature fully articulated fingers on each hand.

  • Front, side, and rear skirt armors can pivot to avoid interference.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

• The head unit can light up.
• Any of the weapons can be wielded by the poseable hands.
  • For better gripping stability, Each weapon feature a flip-out tabs for the palms' hardpoints.
• Core Fighter can convert into Core Block to dock with the Gundam.
  • A non-converting Core Block frame can be used as an alternative if one prefers to display the Core Fighter individually.
• Head, Arms, Thighs, Shoulders, body hatches, and the yellow pieces on the skirt armor can be opened to reveal inner frame.
• Beam Saber hilts feature flip-out tabs for gripping stability.
• Beam Rifle can attach on or remove from the rear waist armor.
• Beam Rifle's muzzle-to-upper-stock can be folded down to reveal mechanical details.

Tips & Tricks

• Due to the parts being coated along with the runner (and combined with a lack of undergates), cutting the pieces off from the sprues may leave some marks, even if some care is taken.
  • Likewise, some parts' tabs/notches can be in a tight fit while assembling, so some scraping is needed.
  • If possible, the marks can be repaired by applying metallic colors that matches the coated plastic.
• The Clear Armor parts and the additional weapons from the first and second RX-78-2 Gundam Custom Sets can be used on this kit.

Availability

This Gunpla can be purchased at Gundam World 2002 in C3, which was held at August 24 till 25. The Gunpla is also later re-issued at March 2017 by Bandai Asia & Australia.
