Articulation[]

  • The head can swivel/pivot on a built-in ball-and-socket/hinge neck joint.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks[]

  • The cockpit hatch can be opened.
  • The hands are swappable.
  • Any of the included weapons can be wielded by the poseable hands.
    • The Beam Rifle and the lower Beam Saber hilt pieces features flip-out/molded pegs for gripping stability.
  • Leg & arm armor pieces can slide out when the joints are bent.
  • Aile Striker can optionally dock with the Strike Gundam.
  • Beam Rifle foregrip can swing left or right.
  • Beam Sabers can be optionally removed as handheld weapons. (For better stability, use the extra lower hilt pieces with molded tabs.)
  • Armor Schneiders can be optionally removed from the waist armors as handheld weapons.
  • The Strike Gundam can be displayed with any Action Bases (Sold separately) via an adapter.

Tips & Tricks[]

  • For better results, some of the details are needed to be panel-lined with Gundam markers.
  • Topcoat (Mr. Hobby recommended) can be used to protect applied decals. (Water-based topcoat is recommended due to the kit having PP parts)
    • If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent parts - can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
  • Care must be taken on the weapon's tabs: the pivoting wrist joint on the poseable manipulators (which also doubles as a peg socket) can make the weapons pop off from it if not attached properly.
  • The Sword & Launcher Striker from the RG Skygrasper Launcher/Sword Pack can be used on this kit.

Reissues of the kit from September 2018 onward will feature a blue-colored Bandai Spirits logo. Later reprints from mid-2022 will also feature an additional Bandai Namco logo.
